Photo Event was a Great Success!

Can you believe we had 40 guests!? Way to go girls, we'll be looking to beat that with our November 6th event, so start planning now. If you didn't make it this time, ask someone who was there!

This event REALLY was 'all it was cracked up to be!'  So you think with having Director Shari Schlapman running the show we were going into boot camp?  Wrong! This was such a laid back, FUN and relaxed atmosphere.  Everyone got to work at their own pace, cut loose and just have some plain good ol' girl time (well I don't know how many of you were actually being good, but you know what I mean.  :)

Ok so how many of you know Darcy Woodham? - are you sitting down? She was the consultant with the most guests at six, and on cloud nine. She won a cute little beaded bracelet that totally fits her style. Way to go girl, step it up a notch!  

Kimberly Jensen came in a close second and honorable mention with five guests.

Thank you to everyone who pitched in to make the day a SUPER SUCCESS. We had Sophena Karim heading up the buffet table and catering to all of our needs. Carrie Bradley was a photographer, Carrie Walls and Bianca Derritt were also giving of their time to help clean up.  Many of you just cleaned up after yourself, which is always nice.   ;)

We appreciate everyone who brought edible items - we had a nice variety and enough to go around - you guys did a great job on that too.  These are the kinds of things, along with Shari's details that makes events like this so successful.  Thank you all again.

To show your appreciation for the fabulous photographer Cynthia Hollings-Morris, I would suggest placing reorders!  I think everyone enjoyed the props and getting dressed up. You will be so impressed.with your photos when you get them back. 

Speaking of, when will you get them back?  Tuesday, August 31, is Customer Appreciation Night for Tuesday Nights live, we will have contests for dinner from Maggiano's, who's before and after is most dramatic?  Be sure to FOLLOW UP with your guests, and meet them to pick up their photos.  Enjoy the slide show...

Portrait Photo Preparation

Let's take full advantage of our Summer End Make Over Event on the 17th, by brushing up on some of our make up techniques for our guests this coming week.  Tuesday night, bring in your Photo Event guests, or even other guests, for practice on the look that's best for their portrait photo.  Plan what to wear, what colors look best, the fun accessories you can play with, really get into it! Directors Shari Schlapman and Kari Medina will surely make the night a fun time!  Payment is due TODAY to reserve your seat at the photo event, $20.   See this link for more information: Summer End Make Over Event.

Got Your Colors Down?  Want to spread your wings a little further? Share time Director Zishan Hultberg as she goes over business bloopers - and overcoming objections! We face these every day, but Zishan has some great tips for working through them.

Did you make it to Master's this week? Remember, you can bank your classes for when Master's Class resumes, just be sure to keep track of your reports!  Master's class = $300 or more of sales for the week (to include new business), hold at least two classes, and/or add a new team member! REMEMBER: You MUST submit a WAS (Weekly Accomplishment Sheet) in order to be recognized!

Congratulations to the Searles!

Avery James joined the Searle family on Thursday, July 29th. He weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20" long. He is a very sweet and easy baby!!! This one actually sleeps, so we are thrilled about that! And Kellen is loving being a big brother! I have forwarded the link of the pictures the hospital took of Avery below.

Sales Director Kerri Bunker, from Denver, had her baby at 26 weeks over 4th of July weekend.  Her beautiful Maxwell recently passed away.  He was born at 1 lb. 4 oz. and made it to a mighty weight of just over 2 lbs., precious as can be.  Kerri and her husband Darren, along with their family covet our prayers during this sad time.
